Drummers

Wolza, broza! We went to the hall to watch some drummers. The drums were very loud and noisy. When the drummers banged hard the noise was louder. When the drummers banged softly the noise was quiet. The drummers moved their arms very fast. We thought the drummers were incredible.
Thank you Miss Campbell for organising the drummers for us today.  

Spiders and Lollies

Yum! Today we had spiders and lollies. They were really tasty. There were lots of flavours of spiders to choose from. Thank you to the Student Council for making our spiders for us.

Wheels Day

We had such a wheely fun day zooming around the track.

Letter R Hunt

This week we have learnt the letter Rr. We went on a letter Rr hunt around our class room. Everytime we saw a letter Rr we made a tally mark. We found lots of them around our classroom. How many letter Rr can you find around your home? Can you take some photos of them?

Symmetry

We have been learning about lines of symmetry. We sorted shapes into two piles - ones that have a line of symmetry and ones that do not.
A shape has a line of symmetry when it is folded and the two sides are the same.
I wonder if anyone can find shapes that have a line of symmetry at thier house.
